SUMMER 2011
The "Portraits" exhibition, coupled with a solo show by Brazilian landscape painter Lucas Arruda was chosen as a Critic's Pick by Jerry Saltz of New York Magazine who calls my "Tribe" series "amazingly intimate pictures" that "emit a secret life of women and give glimpses of the sex lives of strangers." Also singled out in the review is Eric Van Hove's "riveting" Megatram series (that I also love!)
I have portraits from my "Tribe" series showing at I-20 Gallery in a group portrait photography exhibition curated by Simon Watson. "Tribe" is a series of intimate portraits of individuals, couples, and groups who have demonstrated a willingness to expose their sexuality and emotional vulnerability. The work aims to articulate the nonverbal space between openness and self-protection and express the tension inherent in the spiritually complex experience of intimacy. The exhibition is coupled with a solo show by Brazilian landscape painter Lucas Arruda who will have works in the front room of the gallery. Portraits SPRING 2011 I'm thrilled to have my work published in a new photography magazine based out of San Francisco, Descry in its 3rd and special limited edition Spring 2011 issue "Someone Stole My Heart" on pages 16-18. Descry was founded, published and edited by Chelsea Rae Klein. You'll see my still-life series "Un-Earthly Remains" from a few years back paired with an image from "Me Into You" and it's been especially nice to see the juxtaposition of the two bodies of work, both of which deal with sensuality and the body in very different ways. You can buy issues of this magazine online or at various vendors including St. Marks Books in NYC.
I am so proud to once again participate in the ARTWALK auction, honoring James Rosenquist, co-chaired by Alec Baldwin, Richard Gere and Carey Lowell, benefiting the Coalition for the Homeless. SUMMER 2010
I am proud to have been invited to join the curatorial board of Kipton Art, a wonderful organization that is helping emerging artists exhibit and sell work. Here is a quote from a fantastic article posted in Kipton ART Magazine about my coaching practice. Like many artists, Moscovitch’s photography has evolved, changing in theme and style as she progresses. Her most recent body of work delves into the nature of intimacy and relationships. Through research, Moscovitch realized that the intimate aspects of life are one in the same as the creative process. She has honed in on this and is now an active Art Coach. Read the entirety of the article here.
Three images from my series Me Into You will be featured in this exhibition at Sasha Wolf and Foley Galleries The Exhibition Lab Exhibition
SPRING 2010 I am so pleased to be participating in the very first Exhibition Lab, with Sasha Wolf and Michael Foley. Each month a select group of 14 emerging photographers meet for a group critique. We will be exhibiting in July at Sasha Wolf Gallery in the Lower Eastside and Foley Gallery in Chelsea. This is one of my newest images:
FALL 2009 The TURN ON show at SLAG Gallery was featured, along with two of my photographs, in TIME OUT NY!!! Check out the slide show here. SUMMER 2009 Video from Verfall: Decadence and Decay, featuring me and some of the other artists in the show speaking with curator Ginger Shulick:
Island Arts Scene from kenneth Paul Media on Vimeo. This Saturday, July 25 is the opening for Verfall: Decadence and Decay, curated by Ginger Shulick, in which I have a few pieces. This exhibition focuses on decadent yet banalized behaviors smoking, excessive drinking, over-eating, sexual promiscuity and examines whether these over-indulgences are just another part of living a contemporary existence. However, these decadent lifestyles can lead to physical and moral decay and ultimately, death. Press for "Me Into You" in the Kansas City Star and The Pitch: "Me Into You" opening at (the) Slap-n-Tickle (me) Gallery in Kansas City, MO on June 5, 2009. See invite below:
SPRING 2009 Six of my images (3 full-page spreads) from Unearthly Remains and Episodic Memorial were featured in this season's Visual Arts Journal. You can see a slide show of my work here. See below for images from the publication:

In February of 2009, the wonderful Apryl McAnerney, director of (the) Slap-n-Tickle (me) Gallery in Kansas City Missouri featured my piece "Hotel Sex, Love and Intimacy" (center image) in her annual erotica show, Sensuelle. I will also have a solo show there in June. If you find yourself in Kansas City, come check it out, there will be Burlesque at the opening. WINTER 2009 2008 was an amazing year of exploration, really getting into some new work, a project about sexuality and relationships, and concluding the year with Me Into You, a show at OneTaste Project Space in New York City. My piece "Summer Ride" was also sold at the ARTWALK Auction (benefitting the Coaltion for the Homeless)
