Me Into You is a series of photographs investigating both the limits and infinite possibility of intimacy, and what happens when one’s intimate life starts to lack boundaries. Contextualized within my experiences in an open relationship, I investigate how intimacy and sensual relating manifest through openly practiced non-monogamy and where sex and intimacy intersect, with each other and with the concept of “relationship.” Exposing raw sexuality and heated emotion, the work acts as a window into an internal experience of intimacy and vulnerability of a sexually inter-woven community with me, the photographer, as an active participant in the relationships depicted.

Sometimes the dirtiest moments are also the most tender and vulnerable. Encounters that externally seem pornographic can be an internal experience of intimate connection and desire. From deep emotional resonance to raw sexuality, bodies and gestures are arrested by the camera, made available to the viewer and presented as rich tactile environments. Inhabited spaces become stage sets for relating and subjects are integrated into the viewer's full sensory field. These images are an invitation into a sexually charged atmosphere, transmitting the sensation of desire, tenderness and lust.

Joining and commenting upon the ancestry of intimate photography, I am interested in raising questions about sexuality, relationships and the dual role of photographer/observer and subject/participant.
